Coaches may talk a good game but they earn a living with clinics,lessons, showcases,tournaments etc.
Parents feel their kids will miss or get behind.
It’s unfortunate but the parents have to take control.

@NaanDerthaal @hjluks @Davembmd I would take issue with your comment. Back in the day physicians did a fair amount of pro bono work. We all could do “a little”.
I don’t pretend to suggest what a fair amount is but last time I checked, our profession does pretty well. We can handle a few patients who can’t pay.

@hjluks This is horrible. It is gotten so bad in the area that I practice that no one will see patients unless they can receive a substantial reimbursement for services and will push all patients to our facility. Global patients, Medicare, Medicaid do not have access.

@petegallacher It looks to be an old crosspin fixation. Arthrex was one company that made this type of femoral fixation. I have to be honest but I think you can avoid it with outside in drilling. These are very difficult to remove.
