A +100 bet has a 50% of winning $10k so the expected value of the bet is $5k

@Terry_Balmer @landonjake24 @danabeers @JoeDellera A straight bet isn’t a guaranteed win? He had ~50% chance of winning hence the lower expcted value. I understand the thought process but it’s still flawed and why sportsbooks don’t have an issue giving out Bonus Bets

@landonjake24 @danabeers @JoeDellera Certainly true, $9k is a lot of money. But it was a Bonus Bet so he had zero risk. If offered the choice between a guaranteed $5k and a flip of a coin for $20k, he would probably flip the coin as most gamblers would/should.
