Ret Boeing Lead Eng Tech (C-17 Flight Sim) & Northrop | Private Pilot | Vietnam Vet | Inventor (Innovative Products in CA) β Innprodica store on Amazon.π
For many years I commuted to work from Rancho Cucamonga to Long Beach, where I worked for Boeing as a lead engineering tech for the C-17 flight simulator avionics test and modification system. Loved my job, hated the drive! So I thought, why can't we have Tesla cyber-buses and create a "Final-Mile Transportation System!" I would if I had enough money!
If enough people use it, the freeways will be totally thinned out and much faster! The system can save commuters a lot of money, and they can even perhaps lease a small office on the bus to continue work while they travel. Or just work with a laptop in a nice seat and table. Takes the stress out of the commute!
A great option would be to go on vacation using this with your family. It gets you there, and then you have a Tesla cab to take you anywhere you want to go! Stress-free!
This would be a privately contracted service, so you don't have to worry about who's going to get on the bus and rob you or slit your throat! And that is exactly why people don't want to take the existing public transportation systems. This also solves that problem...
@elonmusk@stepango@bot I tried to post a pinned video so I can have Grok Bot analyze it for me but it said the video was too large to post. It would help to have a bit more volume for that purpose.
The Final Mile
Tesla Cybercab and Cyberbus
Transport System and Hub Stations.

@elonmusk@stepango@bot The ability to allow Grok Bot if I so choose to have access to previous standard Grok conversations I've had so it understands context.
@elonmusk@RapidResponse47@POTUS He ain't wrong! Many, many of us appreciate your forward thinking and your deep desire to help humanity survive far into the future!
@elonmusk@parkersmith@poteto@morganlinton he Final mile. Video make with Grok Imagine. Private-office buses, Cybercab transport system.
Let's build this!

@DefiantLs These two clowns have no idea what they're talking about! Just like Bernie, AOC, and especially Harris, who can't even construct an understandable sentence!
@RWN34710@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt As I said.. You can still have your own POV. This is just for people who have long drives to work using freeways. It is voluntary and optional.
Yeah.. we will still need our own cars for such things. And we should never get rid of our antique or classic cars! I was only referencing the need to really thin out the freeways so they would flow really freely. The Final Mile Hub System is mainly so you can enjoy and relax, sleep, work, whatever you want to do on the way to work.
We did have a van pool for Boeing workers for a while, but only a couple of us were willing to drive! (Typical..) The rest of them wanted to sit and sleep with no responsibility!
I think Tesla could certainly make a small runabout that was extremely inexpensive. Firm foam thick exterior (bumper car!) with hardened core passenger cube for safety and no freeway driving.. Maybe only a 100-mile range for local driving. Lightweight, small, fast charge.. something you can drive to the grocery store for a beer run or a milk run!
No, not public, but an annual contracted transportation system. Good for going to work or on vacations. Electric bus, electric transport vehicles to the hubs and from the hubs.
The problem with public transportation is you don't know who's sitting next to you. Just like here in Southern California a couple days ago, a bus driver was shot and killed by a crazy passenger, and in another state, a young lady's throat was slit. Passengers on public buses and trains get harassed, robbed, and sometimes killed all the time! That is exactly why people avoid public transportation. Buses and subways get inundated with criminals, opportunist individuals, and basically just scumbags!
An annually contracted system would vastly reduce the possibility of that. It would keep the system clean and safe.
Such a spoiled little boy. Totally F' ed up California and now he wants to do the same to the United States!
Why don't you do something useful instead like get the illegals out of this state, quit giving them our tax dollars and get the homeless and drug addicted criminals and leeches off the streets!
Oh yeah, and let private industry finish that high-speed train that's been in progress for 17 years instead of asking for 130 something more billion of our tax money to finish a useless project!
Typical clueless Socialist liberal!
Perhaps I do not have all the information, but... If Ai was told to stab the human, then it just merely becomes a tool, an extension of a human arm doing it. In other words, what's the difference between having a robotic arm cut someone's head off or you take the knife yourself and do it on your own, with your arm. There really is no difference!
However, if Ai had free will to do it for whatever logic it determined that is should kill the human, then that's an entirely different situation. But then again, we have many machines, and I have worked around automation where you need physical barriers, physical stops to prevent a machine from killing a human. That would be a prevention of an accident. Much like the table saw that won't cut a finger off because it senses as soon as it touches a finger and slams the blades to stop!
Regarding these tests... My question would be: Was AI given the knife and it decided to stab on its own volition? Was it given a knife and told to stab the human? Two entirely different situations!
Regardless, Ai is still just a software system and then to mate that system up with access to control physical items are an entirely different situation. Who in their right mind would stand in a room with a robotic device controlled by AI if it had a knife in its hand. You don't know what stop controls it has or if it can be trusted, just like giving a knife to an insane human being.
Those are the logical safeguard questions that need to be addressed. AI is only as dangerous as the access to self will control that we provide it.
This is the exact same kind of ignorance and denial that perpetuates this very situation! Until we have strong Black leaders, these problems are only going to get worse. It's time to quit making excuses. It's time to acknowledge the truth. It's time to fix a situation that is totally unacceptable. Yes, these Black kids were acting uncivilized. No question about that!
Fake used car salesman type, pretty boys, like new-scum, shouldn't be anywhere near making a decision like this. Totally unqualified!
This is the same guy that pulled the single surfer out of the Pacific Ocean over COVID, now says he regrets that! Let's just dig a hole and bury our heads in it and remain ignorant!
These scare tactics are designed to gather votes, and there's nothing more to it. If AI is so dangerous, then the creators of it should be the ones to shut it down! Seriously, you don't want this guy anywhere near any decision-making anymore.
What is it, 17 years, billions of dollars? Not one track was laid for the high-speed train! And... he's asking for 200-something billion more to complete it!
That's all you need to know!
I have started three businesses the old-fashioned way⦠All manual effort, sweat equity. I find the potential efficiency of this new concept using Grok, fascinating⦠as Spock would say...
Other than the massive funding it would take to start a business that I have been designing in my head for many years now, it would be interesting to see how Grok would conceptualize and improve upon the development of my concept.
Since I drove for many years from Rancho Cucamonga to Long Beach and back to work at Boeing on the C-17 flight simulator, I have grown to understand the total lunacy of our highway and freeway systems. Terribly inefficient!
I have developed a concept to utilize specially designed electric buses for mass transportation and to create central hubs for those buses. At each hub individuals can obtain a small electric vehicle or even use the Cybercab to get to their final destinations.
The electric buses would be totally different from the typical Greyhound design. Totally redesigned. Low-profile cyber busses private offices for businessmen. Smaller private enclosures. Or just general airline-type seating.
One of the major benefits of this system is that people could ride to work in leisure. It would totally unpack the freeways, which would speed the transport time. Businesses could lease, on an annual basis, a larger βofficeβ cubicle inside the electric vehicle where they could conduct business while they were being transported, thusly increasing the efficiency of their use of time. Their work time may even start as they enter their transport cubicle office, thereby nullifying transportation time.
These electric Cybercab buses could also be used to take trips from LA to San Francisco for example while on vacation and then obtain smaller Cybercab transportation once you reach your final destination. It would be totally flexible in many aspects and would be a transportation means that would, I suspect, be much less expensive than owning, operating, and paying for all the cost of a personal POV.
One other major factor that should please all of us is that the reduction in pollution would be massive! The reduction in accidents and highway deaths would also be, what I think, substantial!
Let's do this!
