@mattbelknap Hi Matt! Cpl NNFs behind. On 35I Retta P. ep,you discussed the Green Day song on ER + you said you thought in the finale, but I remember exactly: it was when chief of staff's young son died of cancer, and Gloria Reuben sang it at the boy's funeral. Powerfully used๐
@DougBenson hi Doug...just listened to the anniversary show with Samm and Geoff, and you several times mentioned how sad people were when Ronny Cox died...but near as I can tell he's still alive (86 -- https://t.co/wMgrPue2o3)
@pattonoswalt@pattonoswalt any chance it's a misunderstanding and somehow they got bad info that YOU, Patton ("Hollywood") weren't coming back after your life of enjoying Arby's ("55 years")? Let's not jump to conclusions
Getting ready for the new @Guster album and SEEING THEM IN AUGUST AT RED ROCKS!!!!! Here's a look back at my Official Rep Badge ๐ The Eras show last month was one thing, but L&GF in full, plus the symphony, plus the venue? (Oh, and plus Luke ;)) should be pretty great ๐
@TrezoroLoyalty got an email from Krazy Bins as my bday is this month. Says "We noticed that it's your birthday. As a special treat we'd like to invite you to come in and collect one Sunday with our compliments at anytime within 14 days"
'collect one Sunday'?What does that mean?
#TheOscars I keep seeing all these posts saying it was an "Oppenheimer sweep." The movie won 7 of the 13 it was nominated for. You can say it did well but why are people calling it a sweep?
I guess people don't quite know what that means...๐คทโโ๏ธ
@NYJ_Matt@Dimps5790 I think "sweep" would be if it won every fight it was in (e.g. every award it was nominated for) and, it didn't. You can say it did great, but sweep doesn't really fit ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@ToadWetSprocket Not sure that it's the overall favorite, but I always enjoyed:
'Never meant
half of the things that I said to you
So you know
there's a half that might be true'
+ some small clever turns of phrase:
-'such a quiet din'
-'dried out hopes and dormant phone'
