@AskCiti We are trying to pay for an out of the country hotel room and your system keeps denying the payment. Your automated phone system will not connect us to an actual person. Send me a DM with a different number to call.
@TerryFranconia The price for NFL Sunday Ticket goes up every year and they reduce the number games on it. That's my gripe with all the extra primetime and Europe games.
@BrianBuckWargo@TimBrando There might as well not even be conferences, especially if the championship games are gone. What's the point if the fourth best team from the Big 4s all make the tourney? I have five TVs and watch games all day Saturday and Sunday. It's not like I'm going to stop being a fan.
@TimBrando@BrianBuckWargo Fill in whichever conference you like. Texas beating Nebraska in the '96 Big 12 title game. That would have been meaningless. The Kick-Six kept Alabama from going to the SEC Championship back when those titles meant something. Now, they don't. I prefer games to have higher stakes
@TimBrando I'm glad they can make money, but parity comes at the cost of fan loyalty. I'm a 40+ year Auburn fan. I'm just rooting for the logo at this point. Recruiting and development is gone. With transfers, many of them are "one and done" at the school. Might as well be college hoops.
@TimBrando I appreciate that a true champion can be crowned, but late season dramatic finishes do not have nearly the same impact. A loss in late Oct or Nov used mean much more. Even with 12 teams, the regular season and conference championships don't mean as much. Just get in the tourney
@BrianBuckWargo@TimBrando Debunked what? The regular season used to be an entire do-or-die playoff of its own. Auburn's 2013 Kick-Six or Prayer at Jordan-Haire would still have been great moments, but under the current system Alabama and Georgia would've made the playoff. Plays like that mattered more.
