Just with reactors under construction and currently in operation, we will face serious supply shortages in the coming years.

By 2045:

- Uranium supply falls ~30%
- Demand doubles
- The cumulative deficit reaches ~2,000 million lbs

To put that in context:

A 2,000 million lb deficit equals ~12 years of today’s global uranium production.

This isn’t a resource problem.

There is plenty of uranium in the ground..... It’s an incentive problem.

At current prices, new mine development barely clears the hurdle rate.

And when supply can’t respond, only one thing does the work:

Price.
