In a nutshell: Palestinians were deceived by Arab countries and UNRWA for 75 years to expect 'return'. They are not interested in a two state solution, only in 'from the river to the sea'. Because of that, Israel needs to stay in the west bank and had to impose a blockade on Gaza. The moment Palestinians agree to 1. give up the right of return and 2. declare the end of the conflict things can move forward.

I can help here: Netanyahu is a narcissistic sociopath, is devoid of any empathy, compassion, honesty or integrity. Even his followers admire him because he's such a good liar. He never takes responsibility for anything (who said 7/10) and puts his political survival before anything else including lives of hostages. He destroyed the Israeli ethos of not leaving anyone behind and giving value to life first. He is only in power because he got in bed with the most vile people in Israeli politics, religious fanatics who value land and 'god' over people's lives just like the ones on the other side. He destroyed civilized public discourse by bringing in incompetent semi criminal and incompetent elements into his government who will always support him because without the jobs he gives them they won't be hired as a security guard at the mall.
And that's not half of it. I can confidently say he's the most despicable person who walked this land since Israel was created. And I'm far from a minority in saying that.
