@Nobody06886476@RaevenNZ@AJemaineClement And I'm glad you did respond because it allowed me to clear up quite a few things - thank you. I am still learning to "drive" twitter and wasn't aware of which thread I was posting on (as it turns out). There were a truckload of comments being made as you can imagine.
@orwell2022@vincristine@SerenaTNZ@NewsroomNZ Really! They can't handle anything other than their partisan line and a myopic view. Unbelievable. I actually thought they wanted to know what worked/didn't etc. Clearly not the case.
@vincristine@NewsroomNZ "The NZ Nurses Organisation has written to Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi asking for urgent reform to help fill a "critical shortage" of nurses, made worse by the Covid pandemic" https://t.co/qbEhqHTDxe
@vincristine@NewsroomNZ But hey, you keep on "being right" and defending the indefensible. Nurses and patients don't really matter eh, as long as you can continue to defend your political allegiance. That's what really matters.
@vincristine@NewsroomNZ Avoids the issue that in almost 2 years of covid, the NZ government refused to greenlight nurses for residency. We had massive shortage and need.
@Nobody06886476@RaevenNZ@AJemaineClement Yes, you are totally correct. I wasn't clear. I posted the NZ/Nigeria graph to show that you get nonsense results if you just compare "covid deaths" between countries, which was what Jemaine was doing.
@vincristine@NewsroomNZ You mean December 2022. Almost 2 years since the first lockdown! That's 2 years when we knew we desperately needed new nurses. Labour refuses to greenlight them. They were so stupendously stupid it hurts. Worse, it hits health workers and patients hard.
The face you make when you're in your 1st week as Chief Children's Commissioner & another child is murdered in another predictable troubled family, but you're too entrenched in your Socialist ideologies to ever admit there's a clear problem, so you just grin like you're retarded
@RenamedPM@coco_galle_eden It's been a denial of the obvious for the past 6 years unfortunately. Lots of "refuting" that and "rejecting premises" to avoid the plainly obvious. Thank F they are gone!
@coco_galle_eden They only blew $60B on nothing. Imagine if they had invested it in health? It was insane the way they made it so difficult for nurses to get PR/citizenship for so long. Way too late.
@vincristine@SerenaTNZ@NewsroomNZ Interesting data. I see in the table that NZ is -4% for 2020 and then+3% for 2021. Sweden is +4% in 2020 and -2% for 2021. Serm similar overall, but I'm not a statistician/ mathematician. Also data stops at 2021.
