Illinois just signed the most aggressive bitcoin tax in the US.

Starting January 2027, the state will impose a 0.20% tax on the gross value of digital assets exchanged, transferred, or stored for customers.

Buy bitcoin? Taxed.
Transfer bitcoin? Taxed.
Hold with a custodian? Taxed.

No profit required. No capital gain. Just moving a digital asset triggers the tax.

Move $1M through a bank wire, ACH, or brokerage and Illinois takes nothing. Move that same $1M as a digital asset and the state takes $2,000.

There is no comparable tax on stocks, bonds, derivatives, bank deposits, or any traditional financial transaction anywhere in the country.

The message to every bitcoin company in Illinois is clear: leave.

🚨 Illinois just passed one of the most bizarre taxes in America

In every state EXCEPT Illinois, there’s no tax for buying, transferring, or storing bitcoin. Obviously.

And unless or until you sell, there’s no capital gains tax. Also obvious.

But now, and signed into law, you are taxed on the full amount of your bitcoin, every time you move your bitcoin or store it.

So from the minute, you decide to move your Bitcoin off an exchange where you bought it, the gross amount is taxed.

Do you see what’s happening?

This is no different than buying and paying taxes for a meal at a restaurant and then deciding to take it home.

But the simple act of taking the food that you already fully purchased and paid for home… now triggers an additional tax that full purchase price of the food.

This doesn’t tax any gains on Bitcoin. It can go up or down in value. It taxes you simply for USING Bitcoin.

Starting Jan 2027 the 0.2% tax on the full value of Bitcoin begins for every resident of Illinois, every time you buy it, transfer it, or even store it with a custodian.

The Charlotte NC high school that painted over a student's tribute to Charlie Kirk, called the police on her, and then publicly branded the 16-year-old girl a VANDAL in front of her entire school...

...has just been forced to pay her $95,000!!!!!!

Her name is Gabby Stout, she was a junior at Ardrey Kell High School.

Days after Charlie Kirk was assass*nated, she got PERMISSION from the front office to paint the school's spirit rock, a tradition kids have used for years.

She painted a heart. An American flag. "Freedom 1776." And "Live Like Kirk ... John 11:25."

Within HOURS, the school painted over it.

Then the principal emailed the ENTIRE school calling it VANDALISM, claiming she broke the code of conduct, and announcing they had called LAW ENFORCEMENT to open a criminal investigation.

They pulled this teenage girl out of class again and again and then MADE HER WRITE A CONFESSION!!!!

They demanded her PHONE so they could search her call logs.

For painting a rock. With permission.

So her family sued. And they WON.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools now has to pay $95,000, publicly clear her name, and admit in writing she did NOTHING wrong.

But not only that... they were forced to adopt a brand new student free speech policy because of her.

Hey @JobsNowPR they're using a masters degree requirement to filter out native staff with fake diploma mill shills. There is zero reason for a masters requirement on this job. The requirements are so vague a masters in diversity would satisfy it. For a senior software engineer.
