@PurpleKoolaid70@billygburner@RussoHockey A 1C would be a good start!
Weirdly, Dallas looked lime they were on the power play the whole series too. There's a definite hole in the Wild game when it comes to that.
@PurpleKoolaid70@billygburner@RussoHockey No doubt, they're a wagon.
However, the Wild should have won tonight and pushed it to a game 6 at least.
The Wild clearly played differently in game 3. More aggressive, playing to win...rather than not to lose.
@ChrisLongKSTP The Minnesota Men's Pro Sports Mantra since 1991 :
Would have,
Should have,
Could have,
Didn't.
Alas, win or lose,(normally a 'lose' in MN) I still have to work in the morning. At a job where I remain employed based on my performance. Interesting concept, huh? Just sayin.
@navz_19@White3D64197@LindaI26@RussoHockey I guess we'll find out.
It was always a gamble making the trade without the long-term deal worked out ahead of time. Quinn is an incredible talent, no doubt.
Whatever happens, happens. It's just sports. I still have to go to work tomorrow.
@White3D64197@LindaI26@RussoHockey It's not really a fantasy though, they've all literally said it in interviews.
It doesn't mean it'll happen, but getting millions to pay hockey with your brothers is something that may be desirable by them.
Naturally, burned out MN fans are going to lash out. That's sports.
@billygburner@RussoHockey I just don't understand how they would just disappear. Yes, Colorado is stacked, but the Wild COULD have beaten them. Is consistency a coaching/game plan issue? I don't know.
@douglasbpierce@CoachBGonzo I'm with you on all but Ek.
I believe he would have made a difference in this series if he was playing. His issue is staying healthy. Nobody is going to trade for a guy that can't stay in the ice.
@billygburner@RussoHockey I hear ya. The thing is that they had times when they COULD beat that team. Game 3 and the first 2 periods of this game, for example.
It just wasn't consistent. Not sure where the blame would be placed... But this team did have the talent.
@Vikeologist I used to feel that way. I used to LOVE the league. Even planning parties around the draft! (which the NFL screwed up) The NFL is a shadow of what it once was.
Hockey is the only sport where guys can actually PLAY. (for now)
@StateOfHoppy The Wild have 2 of the best defenseman in the league. After that, it's ROUGH. It's time for 46, 5, 24, and 25 to end it. The game is too fast for them and some of them just CAN'T stay on the ice. That has killed this team. I like these guys, but it's time.
@puppym0tifs Of course people are going to be disappointed, frustrated, sad, and angry. There is a vast history of losing in this state. It is what it is. A job is a job.
You don't habt to protect them, they're adults. Pro sports want people's passion... That comes with all of t.
Well, let's be honest... That's the job for which they signed up.
Minnesota fans are SO SICK of this result. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory,yet again.
You can't battle 35 years of LOSING and expect people to "be nice".
Being up 3-0, and losing the game? Come on.
