@theposearchives As a life model, I really struggle with understanding the small mindedness of people/institutions. I mean it's just a body... do they not have one under their clothes?
@theposearchives As a nudist I get annual head-to-toe skin exams. My dermo told me she has a few nudists as patients and she's happy they take their skin health seriously.
@NotaMu_AGallery I'm glad you reposted this. I was so caught up in the technical creation of the flow being broken down into its components, that I completely missed the mood of days like this.. ❤️
As a life drawing model/nudist/naturist, this attracted my attention. I had a similar situation when I modeled one night in various galleries at an art museum. After the evening ended, we models wandered the galleries as nude as these folks. https://t.co/13jPjDOzgU
@GracieHagen I was playing around the other day with a facial recognition site PimEyes. I uploaded a photo of myself and the first hit was from Illusions of the Body! Can't believe it's been 10 years. I wonder if body positivity has changed. Time for an Illusion II ? 🤣
@mitdasein @Shirley_Someone fairy wings? That's a new one on me.
I modeled for one class where the instructor told her students if they were uncomfortable drawing genitalia, they could draw fig leaves without it impacting their grades.
@Pantmonger great thread for those people unfamiliar with what happens in the studio.
I got my first art modeling gig when I was recruited by a student who complained to her teacher about only having females to draw. Her teacher actually gave her extra credit for finding a male.
Anyone else out there with a 2023 bucket list?
For art modeling I still need to do body painting and body casting.
Done all the rest. Drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, and I was once a nude model in a film.
