I shall be re-reading this book for the 3rd time, it is the epitome of socialism🌹 Its message is still loud & clear and is so very relevant today with this 🚿 of 💩 that are systematically destroying the working class, anyone with the MEREST interest in socialism should read it

Really sad to hear of the passing of the wonderful Roy Bailey. A lovely man and an amazing songwriter, who donated his song Tolpuddle man to appear on are compilation cd.

The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists. Bought this from News from Nowhere, Radical and Community Bookshop, Liverpool, great shop, a pleasure to shop here, I last read this book in 1972 whilst taking part in the official building workers strike that year, 12 weeks of hardship.
