The Board of @UKCP_Updates has denied its membership of psychotherapists a free and fair election. @CESvotes must now intervene and cancel the election. The sitting incumbent and Board members have promoted their own agenda in the latest edition of The Psychotherapist magazine just when voting is due to begin, and without providing an equal platform to those who are challenging the Board's position. This magazine is distributed to all therapists. This is a disgraceful abuse of the electoral system, an abuse of power, an obstruction of free speech, and is undemocratic in the extreme. They must be held to account.

Encouraging a mind-body disconnection is a novel way of seeking to improve mental health.

We'd like to see some evidence for this other than 'research' by an activist organisation.
