🚨 The House just voted 218-204 to move forward on the discharge petition to provide military aid to Ukraine and impose tough sanctions on Russia. The House will vote on final passage tomorrow. This is our Churchill moment and we must pass the test.
So let me get this straight.
Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom.
Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land.
Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan.
Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted.
And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?”
Please.
Judge Cannon has been sitting on the Jack Smith report for over a year. But the 11th Circuit looks like it's running out of patience. Here's what's happening and why it matters. https://t.co/k9eDX8Lg76
Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core.
The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old.
It had fewer than 50 employees.
And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it.
Here is the part the administration tried to bury.
Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast.
One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done.
Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion.
A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son.
This is public money. Your money.
Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for.
And there is more coming.
A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review.
This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer.

This is Nate Paul.
He was under FBI investigation for fraud. His real estate empire was collapsing after 18 properties filed for bankruptcy in a single year.
He wrote Ken Paxton a $25,000 check.
Then Paxton directed his AG’s office to hand Paul confidential investigative files.
They blocked foreclosure sales on his properties.
And they sided with Paul against the charity he was accused of defrauding.
Nate Paul even employed Paxton's mistress at Paxton’s recommendation.
Paxton's own senior staff reported his corruption to the FBI. They were fired.
This is what Ken Paxton does when he’s in a position of power — and it’s why he should be nowhere near the U.S. Senate.
This is a 6-minute Republican video outlining Ken Paxton’s corruption.
This now “unlisted” YouTube video was repeatedly sent out by the NRSC. It’s devastating.
The swamp is alive and well!
The Bureau of Prisons just handed a $106M federal contract to LEO Technologies to use AI to monitor inmate phone calls.
The twist? LEO’s CEO is Elliott Broidy, the disgraced GOP fundraiser who pleaded guilty to running an illegal, back-channel foreign lobbying campaign, only to be pardoned by Trump in 2021.
A man convicted of selling access to the highest levels of the US government is now being trusted with a massive federal surveillance contract. You can’t make this up.
This week alone:
DOJ opens an investigation into the woman Trump raped.
The White House is caught steering a $620 million contract to Don Jr.’s firm.
The Pentagon hands out a $10 billion contract after Trump buys stock in the company.
Foreign governments are caught funneling hundreds of millions into a random JPMorgan account tied to Trump’s “Board of Peace” with no oversight.
It’s just Thursday.
The corruption isn’t hidden anymore. It’s happening out in the open.
@sarahadams Absolutely fucking tired of MAGA accusing citizens of hating America or not wanting to celebrate our anniversary just because they don't want to do what MAGA or Trump wants them to do! You're not a "patriot" if you don't unconditionally agree with this admin. That's not freedom.
Samuel Alito’s son has worked as a lawyer inside Trump’s Treasury Department since early last year. The administration hid it.
No public resume, no LinkedIn, no mention on the Treasury website, outdated bar listings. Four former officials confirmed it.
The public was never told.
Here is why that matters.
Philip Alito served as an attorney-adviser in Treasury’s general counsel office, briefed on department matters across the board, while the Supreme Court took up a case in which the Treasury Department was a named defendant.
The department never disclosed the connection in court.
Justice Alito did not recuse.
The federal recusal law is plain. A justice must step aside in any case where his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.
That is the test.
Not whether anyone can prove influence but whether a reasonable person looking at this would doubt it. A justice ruling on cases involving the very agency that employs his son fails that test on its face.
And Treasury sits at the center of many upcoming issues, including the fight over Trump’s $1.776 billion dollar fund to reward the January 6th rioters he pardoned. That fight could be headed to the Court too.
This is exactly why the honor system has failed.
The Supreme Court is the only court in America with no enforceable code of conduct. I support withholding funding from the Court until the justices adopt a binding code with real recusal review.
Congress holds the power of the purse.
We should use it.

@realBrandonGill No, it's not really funny........especially coming from a member of Congress who is entrusted to solve the growing problems of our country. It's heartening to know you take that responsibility so seriously.
@SaraGonzalesTX@kbfegs That's your reply to facts you don't like? And you want people to take you seriously? Just another angry MAGA dipshit that earns a living by lying and deflecting. Piss off.
@jason_howerton You don't expect your politicians to be trustworthy? Are you fucking kidding me? LISTEN TO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!!!!!!!! You're a joke. Probably the first one to bitch about politicians.
@jason_howerton You have no choice. You've followed Trump to the pits of hell. Can't admit you were wrong about that choice. So now lying, theft, personal enrichment, and moral decay have become your chosen attributes. Paxton fits right in your
@realannapaulina@RonFilipkowski My lord. Who's lying now? Who's ignoring the conditions of the deal? Who's rewarding the invasion of sovereign states? Who's trying to tell people who have been INVADED what they should do?

You may see clips of Trump’s self-evident dementia, but the full effect requires stamina. Here is NINE MINUTES of Trump talking about his fountains in a Cabinet meeting.
Try to read it. I dare you.
“D.C. and D.C. is looking beautiful. The fountains are almost all open. We had 28 of them, and we have one in particular, a very long lake, we call it. They're reflecting lake between the Lincoln Monument. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. You take a look at between Lincoln and Washington. You have the longest, like 2,400 feet long. That's longer than the tallest building in the world, if you set it on your side. And it's almost 200 feet wide. And for-- actually, it was built in 1922. And from 1920 to '21, it really never worked. It always leaked. And it was a problem about things. And hundreds of millions was spent. The Biden administration and the Obama administration spent hundreds of millions of dollars trying to get it to work, and they failed. And we'll be spending-- you'll give me a number. But I think it's very low numbers, like in the number that we originally talked about. Where we cleaned it, we fumigated it, that we had 10 major truck dumpsters of garbage taken out. Can you believe it? Friend of mine came in. Very substantial person from Germany. Want to see the Washington Monument. I wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial. He said, I look, but that horrible reflecting pond is disgusting. It's filthy dirty and disgusting. I said, really, I drove down. I said, secret shares was taken dry. And we went down. I said, that's terrible. And for the most part, it didn't work. I mean, they wouldn't even have water in there. But when they did, it was just dirty, filthy water that leaked out. And we got to work on it. And they were supposed to cost almost 400, think of it, 400 million dollars, because it's like putting the skin on a skyscraper. But bigger, much bigger, many skyscrapers, you could almost say, other than for the world. So I think of it, the world's tallest skyscraper is shorter than 2,400 feet. So we went to work. And over the years, I built hundreds of pools. I built them every time I built them. I always like to build the Olympic size swimming pools. And I was very aware of swimming pool, what goes into making a swimming pool. It's not as simple as people think. You never wanted to leak. You want a beautiful surface. I said, you know, I have an idea, Doug. We sat down. I said, let's take that long thing where we're going to fix it with concrete, which leaks, concrete, all sorts of other materials that all leak and don't look good. They're gray. And swimming pool, I have a swimming pool right up the road. I built it 22 years ago. It's perfect. I said, does it ever leak, though? It's good contractors. I actually called it a couple of the contractors, got some ideas from them. And I gave it to Doug and Doug's done an unbelievable job. And so they were going to spend maybe 400 million dollars. I don't know. You never know with cost overruns and everything. But it was going to take years to build three years, four years. And we'll have it done before July 4th substantially, before July 4th. If we didn't have such a bad weather the last four or five days, it could have been almost done. We have to-- you can't do this substance in the rain. And what they did is they cleaned it. They took out, as I said, more than 10 dumpsters of garbage. Shovels, it was disgusting. Well, every corner, every corner, had massive amounts of-- I guess that's the way the tide goes. But at massive amounts of garbage, we then steamed clean it. We then sandblasted it. And then we pebble blasted. That's a bigger version of sand. We made the surface as good as it can be. Now we're now covering it with the most beautiful blue. Very thick, you think of it as a very sophisticated form of rubber. No leaks, no problems. And it's beautiful. It's called American Flag Blue that was the color we chose.”
@Sassafrass_84@ArcherBM And wtf is with crediting Trump for the vaccine and then saying people shouldn't take it because it's dangerous? Pick a fucking lane. And Biden didn't mandate it.
@ChristophE55272@johnrockshomes Garland gave Trump a fucking pass.
When you break the law and think it doesn't apply to you, you're going to be investigated. That applies to Trump just like anybody else. Explain to me how Mara Lago was legal? Because trump declassified documents just by thinking about it?
