"If you stick a knife in my back 9 in and pull it out 6 in, there's no progress. If you pull it all the way out, that's not progress. The progress is healing the wound that the blow made. They won’t even admit the knife is there." Malcolm X.
This week alone, New York has lost more people than we did on 9/11.
I’ve been on the phone all week with sobbing nurses, health aides, warehouse & frontline workers.

People waiting to vote in Milwaukee - in the middle of a pandemic. This is what Vos, Fitzgerald, the Supreme Courts have done. They have endangered the lives of people who simply want to vote. This is irresponsible. It is shameful. We have to do better for November election.
To summarize: We are in the midst of a pandemic. GOP wants to hold elections anyway. Black ppl are dying at disproportionately higher rates from this virus. Milwaukee has the highest pop of Black ppl in the state. Milwaukee went from 180 polling sites to 5. Let that all sink in.
This virus will roll across the country like a slow moving hurricane.

I know Joe Biden is being characterized as a "moderate," but if elected I think it might turn out that he ends up presiding over one of the most progressive administrations in American history. It’s where his party is going, and on many issues where the country is going as well.
Fighters don't get out of the line. Thank you Hervis Rogers for fighting for your country despite it's lack of respect for you and those that look like you. #VoterSuppression
