“I find it hard to believe that a billionaire could relate to anyone who lives possibly paycheck to paycheck, which many of the American people do.”

Julie Burr, affected by the shutdown, responds to Trump saying he “can relate” to workers not getting paid https://t.co/6WDM4DovJd

[Susan @aaronkentlaw]

@realDonaldTrump Government Shut Downs should include No salaries for Senators or Congressmen, maybe then Trump could get things done

[Dave Gauvin @memepepegauvin]

@realDonaldTrump Can an executive order be signed to stop all of congress salaries until the government is reopened?

[Bobbi @Bobbi__]

@realDonaldTrump It’s not fair I have to risk my good credit rating which I have worked so hard to achieve!

[Bobbi @Bobbi__]

@realDonaldTrump You of all people should care ! Regardless of what party we belong to we are American Citizens! I support the idea of the wall but don’t feel the group of government employees should be punished for no solution! I have done the work I deserve to get my paycheck !

[Bobbi @Bobbi__]

@MichelleMcC0323 @kmoonbeams @realDonaldTrump And for the sentator who made the comment that government employees don’t have to live paycheck to paycheck get a reality check, some don’t get paid as much as you 😡

[Bobbi @Bobbi__]

@MichelleMcC0323 @kmoonbeams @realDonaldTrump Maybe this is true but all our holiday leave was canceled, and even after being forced to work on the holidays we are unsure if we get paid for the holiday, we should not have to suffer for their inability to come to a solution
