@Takk @AtlantaFalcons Takk is right and I applaud you for speaking up! This team keeps making poor decisions at every turn and us fans have to know about it and keep them accountable. @AtlantaFalcons get it together!
@BobbyATL4 I think Henri forces his way into the lineup. He can do exactly what we traded KP to do.
What he does out of the horns to compliment PF’s is out of this world.
I asked Onsi Saleh how he views Zuby Ejiofor positionally and he noted that he can play both the 4 and 5. Also said, "it's more, to me, about who you guard on that end and you can figure out the other stuff afterward."
FWIW -- I had Henri Veesaar in the same tier as Zuby Ejiofor and would've thought it was a totally reasonable pick at No. 23 last night.
Surprisingly falls into the 50's and the Hawks get a tremendous value.
ATL also values 5-out spacing and he can provide that at center.
@MemphisMonaro56@BTRowland Brad, I understand why you might want to turn off your mentions for an hour after the Hawks made this pick. It seems like we’re getting another undersized Center.
@BTRowland Brad, since this pick doesn't do much to solve our immediate size and shot creation issues, how do you expect Onsi to address these in FA/trades?
Quick takeaways…
1) Totally reasonable deal for both sides. I like the Hawks avoiding the downside risk of a multi-year commitment.
2) This very likely ensures the Hawks will operate as an over-the-cap team.
The Atlanta team consistently refers to their coach by his first name, unlike Brady and Patrick Mahomes, who rarely do this. This has been a longstanding issue. https://t.co/kRlO7xcGuD
