@politicalmath I think a lot of it has to do with simple emergent properties of a labor shortage. Obviously boomers had to compete for jobs while gen Z (smallest generation of them all) has the benefit of leveraging their employers retiring workforce.
@data_dinner@RichardHanania Sadistic joy isn’t the root of the feeling. It’s the constant allure of tribalism. These people would be rationally normal individuals on average if they were raised in a western society.
@CartoonsHateHer It’s because their boat and camper payments they signed up for when they first got the new job and now they are saddled with debt and feel just as poor as they did without the boat.
@tweetingboa@PeterDiamandis If they spend their money, crazy conspiracists will try to ruin their life so it’s better to let the population figure it out themselves.
@SNunn9@MeghanEMurphy To be clear I agree with her stance, she just makes herself insufferable because it’s all she talks about now. It’s annoying. I don’t care if she’s rich. If you wanna grovel to the elite class like a peasant, go for it.
@CherryC02466949 @redseven85 @CIevarUsername @hradzka@dpinsen Not understanding per capita would be men fearing women because they do indeed harm men on occasion.
@CherryC02466949 @redseven85 @CIevarUsername @hradzka@dpinsen Oh no an inappropriate comment from a drunk man! Must be trauma. This reminds me of a chapter in Haidts book covering how people will catastrophize benign acts with inflammatory language as a rhetorical device to gain sympathy.
@ImJustAskinQs2@BnoruMTG@wtgowers The real question is why are there 90 degrees in a corner? Why are the days divided into 24 hours? Is it a mathematical certainty that we need to divide a circle into 360 parts, or is that number just arbitrary?
@eyeslasho We put so much emphasis on valuing the intelligence when it’s actually the emotional connection that people care about. They want their dumb hamster to live over the smart pig.
