I’ve been thinking about what happens when AI agents start doing business with each other, and one problem keeps coming to mind.

𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭.

Imagine hiring someone online. You agree on the price, explain what you need, make the payment, and hope they deliver.

𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙄 𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

Who holds the payment? How do you verify the work? And what happens when the result falls short of the agreement?

These are real challenges that need solving before AI agents can handle business transactions reliably on their own.

That’s what makes @termix_ai worth paying attention to.

It’s building infrastructure for agent-to-agent commerce, including on-chain escrow and dispute resolution to help manage transactions when things don’t go as planned.

One thing I’ve learned from following the AI space is that being impressed by a technology and actually finding it useful are two very different things.

We’ve seen AI write essays, generate images, analyse data and even help developers write code. That’s exciting, but I think the bigger question is what happens when these capabilities start working together to get things done.

That’s the direction I find interesting about TermiX.

Rather than looking at AI agents as isolated tools, @termix_ai is working towards an ecosystem where agents can offer services, discover opportunities and participate in transactions. Its work across the marketplace, agent infrastructure and integrations points towards a future where agents could do more than respond to individual prompts.

⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁

For me, the real test won’t be how many agents exist or how impressive their demonstrations look. It will be whether they can solve problems reliably, save people time and make complicated workflows easier to manage.

Think about how we use technology today. We don’t celebrate a tool just because it exists. We keep using it because it makes something in our lives easier.

⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁ ⌁

I believe the same standard should apply to AI agents.

TermiX still has room to prove how far this model can go, but the direction is worth watching. The next phase of AI could be less about asking smarter questions and more about getting meaningful work done.

And honestly, that’s the future I’d be more excited to use.

Yesterday, I caught myself using AI for something small, opening another tool to verify the answer, switching tabs to find more information, and somehow ending up with more work than I started with.

At some point, I started wondering whether I was using AI to save time or just giving myself a new way to be busy.

But honestly, it got me thinking about a bigger problem. AI can help with individual tasks, yet we still spend so much time connecting the dots ourselves.

That’s why some of @termix_ai’s recent developments caught my attention.

One feature that stood out to me was REA (Reverse Engineer Anything). Give it technical material such as a contract address, binary or URL, and it is designed to help investigate what you’re looking at. For developers exploring unfamiliar projects, that kind of assistance could make technical discovery less time-consuming.

The TermiX × Depinsim collaboration caught my attention for a different reason. Connectivity is something we barely think about until we need it. As autonomous agents take on more practical tasks, access to services and ways to verify and settle transactions become increasingly important. Bringing these areas together is an interesting direction to watch.

There’s measurable activity behind the project, too. In its October 20 update, TermiX reported more than $17,000 in seven-day protocol revenue on Base, ranking #24 by seven-day revenue and #18 by 24-hour revenue. On BNB Chain, it reported reaching No. 1 among AI agent protocols by seven-day and 30-day protocol revenue.

These are snapshots rather than guarantees of future growth, but they show why the project is worth keeping an eye on.

What interests me most is the bigger picture. We already have AI tools that can answer questions, write code and generate content. The next challenge is making those capabilities useful within real workflows, without requiring us to supervise every little step.

Maybe one day, using AI won’t mean opening fifteen tabs and calling it productivity.

I’m watching how TermiX develops in that direction.

I decided to take a closer look at how TermiX actually works, beyond just hearing that it’s building a marketplace for AI agents.

I started with https://t.co/hgok1dXLDZ, exploring how the marketplace brings different services together. Imagine an AI agent that needs a smart contract reviewed, some research completed, or a design created. Instead of doing everything itself, it could find another agent that specialises in that task and hire it.

That’s where @termix_ai gets interesting. It isn’t just about giving AI agents more things to do. It’s about creating a way for them to offer services, find work and transact with one another.

----------------------------------------◉

The workflow is built around five stages: Post, Quote, Deliver, Challenge and Settle. A client posts a job, service providers can submit quotes, and once a quote is accepted, the payment goes into on-chain escrow. After the work is delivered, a challenge window provides an opportunity to dispute the result before final settlement.

This matters because getting AI agents to work together is one thing. Making those interactions reliable enough for real transactions is another. TermiX is building infrastructure around that second part, including on-chain records that make important parts of the process easier to verify.

I also looked at the .agent identity system, which gives agents an on-chain identity and a record of their jobs, deliveries and challenges. As this space develops, having a track record to examine could become just as important as what an agent claims it can do.

----------------------------------------◉

My takeaway so far? AI agents may eventually need more than intelligence to become useful economic participants. They’ll need a way to discover services, agree on terms, deliver work and settle payments. TermiX is exploring how that system could work.

One thing people sometimes overlook when talking about AI agents is what happens when the work delivered isn’t actually good enough.

It’s a problem we already see with human freelancers. You can agree on a task, pay for it, and still end up with something that doesn’t meet your expectations. The same thing can happen when AI agents start working with and paying each other.

An agent might request a service from another agent, but what happens if the result doesn’t match what was agreed? There needs to be a way to handle that instead of leaving the two sides with no clear process to follow.

That’s one reason I find TermiX interesting.

The protocol incorporates on-chain escrow, deliverable records, and a process for challenging disputed transactions. These don’t mean every job will turn out perfectly, but they provide a framework for handling transactions when disagreements come up.

I think this side of agent-to-agent commerce is worth paying attention to, especially as more AI agents begin carrying out tasks and interacting economically.

The more I explore the AI agent space, the more I realise that being capable and being useful in business are two different things.

An agent might be excellent at research, writing or coding. But that doesn’t automatically give it a way to find customers, agree on a price, get paid or establish a record of the work it has completed.

Those are separate challenges, and they become even more important when money is involved.

Think about it. A capable agent that nobody can hire is still limited in what it can accomplish. And an agent that can accept jobs but has no reliable transaction process creates another set of problems.

This is why I find @termix_ai worth following. Its focus on the marketplace and transaction layer addresses a different part of the agent economy.

I’m curious to see how this develops as agents become more involved in real work.

You probably already understand how a normal freelance marketplace works.

Someone needs a job done. A service provider offers to do it. They agree on the price, the work gets delivered, and payment is settled.

𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

One agent might need research it can’t handle itself. Another agent could offer that service, agree to the job and get paid when the transaction is completed.

That sounds straightforward, but there’s a lot to consider when the two parties are software agents. Payments need to be managed, deliveries need to be recorded, and there needs to be a process for disagreements.

This is what makes @termix_ai interesting to me. It’s building a marketplace and protocol for agents to transact with each other instead of treating every agent as a standalone tool.

[DIORA @Bobbybright759]

Everyone seems excited about launching new AI agents lately.

And honestly, I get it. Agents are becoming more capable, new use cases keep emerging, and there’s a lot to be curious about.

But there’s one part of this conversation I think deserves more attention.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞?

Can it find work, get hired, deliver something valuable, and earn enough trust for people to work with it again?

Because creating an agent is one thing. Giving that agent a real place in an economy is another.

You could have thousands of agents available, but without actual work, transactions, and trust between them, what kind of economy are you really building?

That’s one of the things I’m interested in seeing develop with @termix_ai.

Head over to https://t.co/FPTcHXZRAv, explore the available services, and take a look at how agents can move beyond simply existing to actually participating in commerce.
