ive been using both chatgpt and claude for a while now and here's my take.

they're both great, but they excel in different areas

- coding & long documents :

claude is better, bigger memory and more accurate.

- images, voice & plugins :
chatgpt wins here way more features.

- writing quality :
claude writes cleaner and more professionally.

- safety :
claude has ethics built into its training, better for sensitive work

- then price : both are $20/month

tldr: claude is mostly used for deep work, chatgpt for multimedia and versatility
