This means a Nigerian is earning a minimum wage of £1 per day while UK counterpart is earning £12 per hr. Even though cost of living is higher in UK but think about £1 per day & £12 per hr. For e.g., Nigerian electricity cost is near that of UK. You are earning £1 per day but paying electricity cost almost the same with someone earning €12 per hr.”
