@sknk_hunt42 Here’s what’s laughable about Bernstein‘s comments: Kane made his mistakes when he was a young kid and has now matured. Whereas Bernstein made serious transgressions when he was supposedly a fully mature adult.
@chicagotribune@chicagotribune This article contains a complete falsehood, that "heat kills more Americans than all other weather related disasters combined."
More than ten times as many people die from cold than heat.
@MissinRoyko An example that really pisses me off: there have been far more articles on the $13 million reflecting pool issue than the billions upon billions of fraud in MN and CA. Why? Because the fraud issue makes Democrats look bad. Remember when newspapers used to look out for us?
@cody__cubs A few weeks ago Smoltz mentioned on a broadcast that Swanson was opening his front shoulder and hip way too early. It’s hard to believe a hitting coach couldn’t come up with a way to correct that flaw. It’s been going on all season long.
@timecaptales Something spooky...go to the 6:53 mark. That kid is the spitting image of a young Noel Gallagher. But Noel was only a 1 year old at the time
@BenPopeCST Their dump and chase approach drives me up a wall. What’s the point of doing that if you don’t have the physicality to win puck battles? 9 times out of 10 it winds up as simply handing the puck over to their opponents
@wischlist We of course have to take care of our business first, but I would’ve preferred a rattled UNC to escape with the win rather than facing a VCU team that’s gonna be sky high on Saturday
@tuckahoetommy@FXMC1957 I just said to someone I equate this performance with what Secretariat did in the Belmont. Both of them were probably the only two times my jaw literally dropped watching a sporting event.
@TheFieldPass The Wisconsin game was the end of the line for me. To allow two 80+ yard plus scoring drives led by a fourth string true freshman quarterback was inexcusable. A change had to be made.
