there's so many layers to competing. the outer is going very well - playing much better overall and making better decisions.
the inner game however, i need to refine - there's a couple things that act as inhibitors to accessing the state where i can "just play" despite pressure
i finally beat my training partner after 3 months in a ft10, but I was cracking due to nervousness, waning concentration and doubt. Its easy to manage these things on their own, but when you're mid-set a lot of these things stack ontop of the physical game and decisions you make
@VeganTurkey1291 outdated, it used to be that f.S never converted, 2h never converted at max range, air tatami low attack level
baiken USED to have a slow run speed, she ZOOMS now
all of those things outside of air tatami having a low attack level is fixed, her neutral is far from bad now
300 followers on the purple app, i appreciate it so fuckin' much. I am so grateful..
i just want to provide value and showcase my process of being an okay player and becoming great, and show that anyone can do it BEFORE the process is done.
TNS run today, lets do our best~
@ApologyMan its really easy to say "just buff the weak characters later!" but this can lead to stale metas where player retention falls off a cliff. And the damage is done.
The ideal is that you make them balanced (or strong) but its difficult. league is a good example of all of this
@ApologyMan honestly, in terms of company perspective, a character being strong pushes sales - pushes people to talk about the new arrival in town, counterplay develops quickly.
A character being weak has no one wanting to buy them, no one caring about the counterplay - they just fade.
@KuromiFGC you already know if they do it people are immediately going to complain about queue times and how theyre stuck in role and want an open queue - overwatch all over again
