In the 1945-46 elections, voting was not universal adult suffrage.

Also I don't think majority of muslims want a theocratic nation or hate others.
Ofcourse extremists should be called out but that should fairly include extremists from every religion.

Family, property, jobs, language and culture mattered. A Malayali Muslim had little reason to leave Kerala for Pakistan. India was always their homeland.
