The military has also filed an affidavit denying knowledge of the whereabouts of Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi! They state that they did not abduct him and that he's not under their custody. This, after the police also denied knowledge of his whereabouts. Of course we've seen these kinds of denials before, including in the case of the Kenyans and that of the two @NUP_Ug Deputy Presidents. They lied on oath that they didn't have them, only to produce them days or weeks later. (Under normal times, officers who lie on oath would be held liable for perjury.) Hopefully they will soon preduce Hon. Kivumbi and take away the incredible pain that has engulfed his family and friends.
WHERE IS HON. MUWANGA KIVUMBI?

Participated in the LC1 elections in my village of Kyaali Cell, Bugabira. Congratulations to Mr. Musaazi(NUP leaning candidate) on his victory after the withdrawal of the NRM flag bearer.
Today, we mark exactly six years since we unveiled the National Unity Platform (NUP)โthe political wing of the People Power movement. What a journey it has been! A journey of sacrifice, pain, and triumphs.
When we set out, may detractors said we wouldn't last a month. They called us hooligans and lumpens. They branded us a passing wave that would never amount to anything. They dismissed us and unleashed all manner of propaganda against us.
But we did not give up or give in. Today, we still stand as a potent, resilient anti-dictatorship force known world over for standing for the rights and dignity of every citizen.
We celebrate this milestone under heavy hearts, remembering our comrades who are still languishing in illegal detention, those who have been tortured, and those who have paid the ultimate price for a free Uganda. We shall never forget their sacrifice.
To the regime: our spirits have not been and will not be crushed by the extreme repression!
To the people of Uganda: do not lose hope. The setbacks we have encountered are mere phases in an intergenerational struggle. We will complete this mission.
Thank you to our leadership team, our diaspora chapters, and every Ugandan standing firm at the grassroots. The journey may be long, but freedom is inevitable.
Happy 6th Anniversary, NUP! โ๐พ๐บ๐ฌ
