@FromTheSeidline Last years baseball team had 8 of 9 starters that played on the same little league team with me even. That 1 left out was a freshman last year, couldn’t play with us anyways. This same team of childhood friends went to the state championship. Seems impossible right..

@FromTheSeidline Actually, my school indeed does fall into that category. The only player you have against lumen is Ashton.. and a kid transferring from middle school to high school, which is the best time to do it, because he thinks it’s what’s best for him then I don’t see a problem.

@FromTheSeidline Which btw, most of the time kids aren’t transferring for athletics. I hear you on the educational part and I agree. But think about reality and not how it should be. So these kids transferring 3 years for sports is again, terrible for sports, but even worse for education!

@FromTheSeidline It would also make it so those same kids could transfer out the next year and not be affected in the slightest. Meaning they could transfer somewhere else or even back to Lumen and have full eligibility. Again, do research.

@FromTheSeidline I could name you about 5 kids of the top of my head who transferred from Lumen to Western in the past two classes strictly for sports they made that known.
That goes against your standards right? Or since its private->public its different.

@FromTheSeidline I’m using your standards of where you think kids should be vs shouldn’t be, trying to put it in perspective for you. If Ashton was to transfer to a private school you wouldn’t have a problem at all. But since it’s lumen, it’s illegal. Take Western for example. -

@FromTheSeidline Id also love to get back on topic. You allude to Ashton being “recruited” to lumen. I don’t see how a kid that transferred to a different school from middle school to high school and PAYS TUTION, is worse than say Luke Soper being at Hanover when his entire family is Lumen people
