On this date a year ago, I was reading the news as usual during my Sunday slot. Then, through my earpiece, the director of the show told me that we were crossing LIVE to a media briefing by KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Line after line Mkhwanazi dropped bombshells unlike anything this country has heard. I sat on my TV news anchor chair, and all I could do was go YOH!
It was that briefing that gave birth to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
Do you remember that day?
Comrade Supra, on what basis is the committee, or even yourself as Chairperson, involving yourselves in this matter? I don't recall the committee taking a similar interest when President Ramaphosa made a private visit to Zimbabwe on 3 May 2026, where he met the Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa at his private Precabe Farm in Kwekwe. Reports also indicated that he met controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo, whose assets have been frozen here in our country and who has been under investigation over alleged money laundering.
Why are there different standards for two presidents? One is now a former Head of State, elderly Statesman and private citizen, while the other is the sitting President, over whom Parliament has a clear constitutional oversight responsibility. If there was no urgency to involve the committee in the latter case, why is there urgency now as it pertains to the former President? This kind of inconsistency creates the impression that Parliament and its parliamentary committees are being drawn into political battles instead of applying the same standard to everyone. That does little to strengthen public confidence in Parliament's impartiality...
Meet Karyn Maughan, a random journalist, who once said General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has no evidence of what he said in his 6th of July statement last year.
It's a year later, and Mkhwanazi gave over 10 files of evidence. Karyn has never apologised for her stupidity and ignorance
Tomorrow 06th July is one year exactly since that fateful press briefing by General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
CAT Matlala is in prison, Information peddler Brown Mogotsi is in prison, KT Molefe is on trial, 007 Agent Sergeant Fanie Nkosi is in prison, Julius Mkhwanazi is in prison, Brigadier Rachel Majeng is dismissed. Organised crime Head Richard Shibiri dismissed. KZN Hawks Head General Senona resigned.
Generals Feroz Khan and Kadwa are in hot water with the former involved in a questionable assassination plot to himself. All SAPS members involved in the awarding of Medicare24 tender are on suspension, Illegal cigarette dealers are under the microscope. Julius Malema's proximity to illicit cigarette dealers has been exposed. Truck hijacking syndicate by EMPD is exposed, precious metals dealership involving senior cops exposed.
Parliament Ad-hoc Committee's shoddy work for shielding General Khan has been exposed. Special Task force members hired into private bodyguards and as possible assassins has been exposed. IDAC is busy with self destruction. A Judge inexplicably striking off the court roll a high profile case and charging a prosecutor reveal a possible infiltration of the Judiciary. Let me just stop here.....
Does General Mkhwanazi understand the magnitude of his July 06th 2025 press briefing or does he think he was just doing his job? Those in denial are still demanding evidence. ๐คฃ
@supranomics Did you do the same about PresRamaphosaโs visit to Mnangangwa and having met the fugitive as well? Or you are chasing the cloud as well?
@KhunanaLebohang They always fall into it because it's hardly truth or justice that motive their actions/decisions...it looks like unexamined, deep seated prejudice or hatred as you point it out...
@eNCA Badly, the bitter defenders of the ministerโs words in the presidency against President Zuma as are unrealistic people wonโt hear the Deputy President sane voice because are for insulting own illusion from reality and truth.
โ๏ธ | Now they are still dealing with the corrupt Generals in the law enforcement.
It's going to be fun when they start bringing in the politicians. The people they work with and who gives them instructions. Others who get "a cut" from drug and illegal mining money.
Heee!!! Its not shocking why they want that Commission not to be extended. It's coming closer to home manje.
The ANC is starting another problem, and as usual, they will be caught off guard later... The sooner we vote ANC out, the faster we reclaim S.A sovereignty.
