Hongera Ndugu🎉🎊
It is amazing that another year has gone by. We give praise and honour to God for His loving kindness, mercy and grace. He has walked with us and we are at the beginning of another year! It is hard to believe that you are 82!
2026 has been a year unlike other years, and therefore we have even more reasons to give thanks to God for the blessing of life. The fact that I am here in person to wish you a happy birthday is a testament to God’s goodness and Faithfulness.
Happy 82nd birthday, Mzee! May God continue to bless and use you mightily.
Today, our family and the Covenant Nations Church community witnessed a deeply significant moment as my wife Patience was consecrated to the Episcopal Office of Bishop.
For more than 20 years, I have watched her serve quietly, faithfully and with uncommon discipline, choosing the work of God above recognition, position or applause. As I reflected on this journey today, I kept returning to three lessons she has taught our family.
First, Repentance. Patience has taught me that repentance is not weakness. It takes courage to return quickly to the truth, to reconcile, to forgive and to keep one’s heart right before God.
Second, a healthy resistance to the seduction of power and materialism. She has always been careful with her words, suspicious of flattery and unwilling to let position, status or possessions define her. She would rather remain silent than speak without purpose.
Third, Commitment to something higher than self. In a world where many of us want to occupy every space at once, Patience has remained focused on her calling, her family, her faith and her service to others.
These lessons have shaped our home, and I believe they will now strengthen the many people God has entrusted to her care.
We are deeply grateful to H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni and Mama @JanetMuseveni , Bishop Dr. Ladonna Osborn, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and Mrs Folu Adeboye, our church elders, family, friends and everyone who joined us at Covenant Hill, Maya, for this special day.
Congratulations, Bishop Patience M. Rwabwogo.
May this new season find you humble in service, courageous in truth, measured in leadership and faithful to the calling that has brought you this far.
🚨 Mason Greenwood Opens Up on His Life After His Girlfriend Accused Him of Rape and Assault
“Before everything happened I was flying at Manchester United. I was scoring goals regularly, performing at a high level week in and week out, and sharing a dressing room and pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo was honestly the best thing that ever happened to me.
Those were the moments I had dreamed about as a kid the big games, the goals, the atmosphere at Old Trafford. I felt like my career was only just beginning and the sky was the limit.
Then, right when everything was peaking, my girlfriend accused me of rape and assault. That nearly destroyed my career overnight. I hit rock bottom. I was depressed, I cried constantly, and the weight of it all felt unbearable.
Through it all I knew I was innocent, but that didn’t stop the damage. None of the Manchester United players spoke up for me publicly. The club made it clear they wanted me gone. They shipped me out on loan to Getafe just to get me away from the club.
When that loan finished I still hoped to return to Manchester United, but they kept the door closed. Instead I moved to Olympique Marseille, where I tried to rebuild my career and show what I could still do on the pitch.
Even after that spell in France the message from United remained the same they wanted me gone for good. Now I’ve signed for Fenerbahce.
The rape accusations ruined the career I had built at United and changed my life forever. But all the same, I’m grateful that a few clubs first Getafe, then Marseille, and now Fenerbahce still believed in me enough to give me another chance to play football. I’m determined to make the most of it.”
