Home Nations is such a special event, there’s no junior tennis event in the UK quite like it. Team Wales did themselves and their parents & coaches proud this weekend. As always a privilege to be involved…this year as captain to a cracking U14 team. Age group winners 🏆🏴
@htrix@LloydCymru I agree these local lockdowns don’t seem to have any positive effect on the spreading of the virus. They are just awful for Wales though in so many ways!
@fmwales Please be fair and consist in coming out of lockdown. Golf and now horse riding are allowed in Wales but not tennis! This would make many people (across all ages and genders) very very happy without causing any risk. Please use common sense when interpreting scientific evidence.
@fmwales Glad contact tracing is in place now! The missing piece of the puzzle getting through this. The only difference between practices in Germany and the UK all along! Please learn from others quicker! Including opening up tennis - played safely across all of Europe apart from Wales.
UPDATE🎾🏴| Congratulations to all of the Welsh players who travelled as Team Wales to the U12 Tennis Europe event in Halton last week. Gracie Hurley reached the QF while Mimi Xu reached the final and won the doubles. A fantastic learning experience for all involved #RedRoar
