Strong first impression by the Fr. who reached base three time w/ two homers. Mature presence in his box, maintains balance thru finish. Moves well for age w/ sound actions at the SS position. Another ‘29 making noise, .300 hitter (50 ABs) to open up HS career. ⬆️ 👍

‘29 RHP/2B Barrett Grieve (@barrettgrieve11) of Bishop’s HS

With only 1 inning of work, Grieve showed pitches that showed some projective attributes. FB had tight ASR and was thrown effectively. CB wasn’t as effective but the 1-2 punch is definitely a tough look for hitters to adapt to. As a hitter he looks comfortable in the box with athletic attributes manning the 2B position.
