Everyone needs to know what is happening in our world right now: Our planet has been experiencing the most extreme heat event in world history. This is the coldest summer of the rest of your life.

July was the hottest month in the United States since we records began in 1895—Washington, USA burned to the ground.

June was the hottest month in Europe, exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, shattering all heat records—caused over 25,000 deaths across the continent.

Venezuela, Columbia, Indonesia, and Malaysia earthquakes crashing. The planet has recorded exactly 10 major earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or higher—Earthquakes are not caused by CO2, but climate change can modulate them by secondary effects.

Rivers in China and Europe are drying up, reaching historically low levels—Just for perspective, the drying of these rivers will impact shipping routes, leading to a skyrocketing in the prices of food, fuel, and energy.

El Niño has begun, driving ocean temperatures to record-breaking highs—Nearly three decades ago, a catastrophic El Niño claimed 23,000 lives and inflicted billions of dollars in global economic damage.

Canada burned to the ground, and Greenland's ice sheet is collapsing—slowing down the overturning of heat in the North Atlantic, pushing the whole monsoon system down further south, causing droughts and forest fires over the Amazon rainforest.

The severity of this heatwave is truly hard to comprehend. What's going on there is a foreshadowing of our future.

Scientists confirmed that heatwaves driven by climate change. Climate change is not a "hoax." It’s real and it’s happening.

If you are not a scientist, and you disagree with scientists about science, it’s actually not a disagreement. You're just wrong. Science is not truth. Science is finding the truth. When science changes its opinion, it didn't lie to you. It learned more.

This is no longer just a climate crisis. Climate chaos is inevitable. This is a humanitarian crisis. Just because you do not take an interest in climate change, doesn't mean climate change won't take an interest in you.

We should start naming heatwaves after fossil fuel and oil companies, and wildfires after arms and defense industries. And Could reporters stop asking if leaders believe in climate change and start asking if they understand it instead.

The world must remember that we live in a society, not an economy.

🇮🇹 The speech that all of Italy heard. And that the world must hear.
In a country that will host the Olympic Games, Italian Senator and Vice President of the Human Rights Commission Filippo Sensi took the floor and said what should have been said out loud long ago.
He called it a disgrace that the International Olympic Committee disqualified Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych.
Not for doping.
Not for violating fair play.
But for… memory.
For a helmet bearing the faces of Ukrainian athletes — his friends, colleagues, champions — killed by Russia.
The IOC stated that the helmet “did not comply with regulations.”
And then Sensi asked a question that brought silence to the chamber:
Does aggressive war comply with regulations?
Is there a separate technical protocol for it?
The correct angle of a missile strike?
The permissible size of a crater?
An athlete prepares for the Olympics for years.
A Ukrainian athlete trains between air raid sirens, in shelters, under news of the dead.
He overcomes fear, exhaustion, and loss.
And he steps to the start line not only for a medal — but for the right to exist.
And he is suspended… for remembering.
Because memory is the most dangerous substance. It is hard to add to a prohibited list. But apparently, someone would very much like to.
The senator named names. Just a few among more than 650 Ukrainian athletes killed by Russia:
▪️ Yevhenii Malyshev, 19, biathlete — killed in Kharkiv.
▪️ Mariia Lebid, 15 — missile strike in Dnipro.
▪️ Dmytro Sharpar, 25, figure skater — killed in Bakhmut.
▪️ Volodymyr Androsiuk, 22, track and field athlete — also Bakhmut.
▪️ Daria Kurdel, 20 — missile strike in Kharkiv.
▪️ Alina Perehutova, 14 — standing in line for water with her mother in Mariupol.
▪️ Maksym Halinichev, 22, boxer — killed defending Luhansk region.
▪️ Viktoriia Ivashko, 9, judoka — missile strike in Kyiv.
▪️ Kateryna Diachenko, 11, gymnast — airstrike on Mariupol.
▪️ Karina Bakur, 17, world kickboxing champion — shielded her father with her body.
These were the faces Heraskevych wanted to carry with him to the start line.
So that they would “compete” alongside him.
So that their dream would not die with them.
And for that, he was punished.
Because it turns out that the faces of murdered athletes violate regulations.
But their absence on the track does not.
In his speech, Sensi said the most important thing:
The Olympic Committee did not lose an athlete.
It lost its most valuable medal — its conscience.
Sport without memory is just a show.
Sport without humanity is just decoration.
Sport that fears truth is not about peace.
The Olympic movement was born from the ideals of honor, dignity, and unity.
Yet today Ukrainian athletes must prove not only their strength — but their right to remember their fallen.
And if memory becomes a violation of regulations — then the problem is not the helmet.
The world must hear this.
Because silence is also a position.
And indifference is also a choice.
Memory cannot be disqualified.
And conscience cannot be added to a prohibited list.

It is our responsibility as Americans to get the truth out there. Petti was not attempting to harm anyone. He was swarmed, beaten, and disarmed by vicious federal agents who were looking for someone to hurt. Once they had removed his gun — which he had a legal permit to carry — they executed him in cold blood by firing numerous bullets into him. Then, the Trump administration proceeded to immediately falsely smear him as a "terrorist" who wanted to carry out a mass shooting against law enforcement. They're utterly shameless.

“He cared about people deeply and he was very upset with what was happening in Minneapolis and throughout the United States with ICE, as millions of other people are upset,” said Pretti's father Alex. “He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street. He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.”

Rest in power Alex. The rest of us will carry on the fight.

You must understand the gravity of the situation.

The people of Greenland are not for sale. The citizens of Greenland are not slaves. Slavery was abolished in 1865, and the idea that a people or their land can be acquired has no place in the modern world, under international law, or within democratic societies.

At this moment, the citizens of Greenland—from children to the elderly—are feeling unsafe and deeply unsettled by the current situation. No population should be made to feel fear or insecurity because of statements made by those in positions of power.

There are no Russian or Chinese naval forces operating in Greenlandic waters. Claims suggesting otherwise are false and misleading.

The United States already has a strong and long-standing defense agreement with the Kingdom of Denmark. This agreement has provided the United States with full military access to Greenland in support of American and allied security.

You, as members of Congress, have a responsibility to act. You must uphold international law, respect the sovereignty of allies, and ensure that no attempt is made to take control of Greenland🇬🇱

You took an oath to the Constitution, not to President Trump.

One of the many things MAGA Americans don't seem to realize, and between vaccines and common sense I do mean very many things, is just how old life is in Europe and just how much all of us are tied to our land.

That Greenland you fancy invading? Some European guy set foot on it some 500 years before your very continent got discovered. By the time you country become a thing, Greenland was already part of Denmark for 400 years.

Those bits of Ukraine you are so easily asking them to surrender to Russia? There where people speaking Ukrainian there before the ancestors of your founding fathers even considered getting on a boat.

To further drive the point and just as a random example, I am from Romania, a place where 2000 years later we still call ourselves Romans. I got a bar across the street from me older than your entire civilization.

So if you are banking on 750 millions Europeans not doing a thing about you invading Greenland, you forcing Ukraine to surrender or you having all of Europe sold off to your Russian ally, you might wanna revisit that bet.

First of all, the United States did not even exist until 1776, 249 years ago. Meanwhile, Vikings reached Greenland around 985 AD, and Denmark established colonies there in 1721.

Second, the use of imperialistic rhetoric by the US President is the sign of complete moral bankruptcy.
