B Section section response officers have been conducting foot patrols in the town centre. Whilst conducting these patrols, officers responded quickly to an incident in the town. If you see officers on patrol, please approach and speak to them regarding any concerns #Bsection
The accused was due to appear in court this morning - but didn't. However Judge Linford took the opportunity to put out a strong message he wants everyone to see and share. It included specific reference to a 'weapon' too.

Busy shift for B Section response on 28th March. Concerned member of public noticed this in the street and rightly called it in as suspicious. Checks established it as a toy.
At the same time in the same street a male was arrested in possession of two hammers. #bodmin

On a slightly lighter note, the pictured (very friendly) dog & owner were brought back to the police station by officers, they had been involved in an RTC on the A30 at Bodmin & were awaiting collection by relatives. Of course we made sure he was well looked after 🐶.

Another busy 24 hours for us
One male from Bodmin in custody overnight following an allegation of an aggravated burglary late yesterday.
Further enquiries were needed
He spent a few hours ‘enjoying’ our accommodation
Night shift were heading back in just before 7am when they spotted a car being driven erratically.
Vehicle stopped, driver breath tested, was clear
Everything else in order, driver was lost.
Now redirected & on way
We are looking for those who are over limit after heavy nights!
28 Bottles of "suspected stolen" beer on the wall 🎵
This afternoon Bodmin Neighbourhood Team executed another Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant.
We seized numerous Class A and B Drugs, Knuckle dusters, Cash and a few bottles of stolen spirits.

Bodmin Police swiftly arrested a persistent shoplifter who was only released from Prison on Weds.
Hopefully the courts give a stronger sentence this time
This was made possible by a member of publics swift call to the police when he noticed suspicious behaviour
#Bodmin - Driver was aware the tyres needed changing but didn't realise how bad they were. But still happy to take the risk with her family on board.
Reported for the offences and can expect points and a fine.
