Heart of the Game isn’t about stats. It’s about grit, breaking tackles and diving for what’s yours even when they’re trying to strip it away. So, When they reach for the ball…You reach for the end zone. That’s heart. That’s discipline. That’s legacy. @rjharvey07#JAXvsDEN
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Comparing someone is one thing. To flat out say someone outright “sucks” is another. Regardless of your feelings, his limited part helped the Broncos win games. Point Blank Period.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Peers with 3 years NFL experience & limited touches. Again nothing bad on McLaughlin bc I like him, but to state my point, limited touches all 3 years. Harvey has 72 points with Broncos his first year. He broke a record with longest run for a rookie. 12 TDs. So stop it.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Not meant for you to care. Just as no one cares what you think either. He’s in the NFL bc of his skills and you’re at home on twitter hating on a rookie 😂😂 comparing him to a 3 year veteran.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Who wants your commentary of nonsense. You say nonsense and he “Never”? Week 1 was 11.7 YPC and his YAC early in the season was reported around the 7+ yard range, driven by limited touches and explosive plays. Just RBs with limited touches. So don’t say NEVER.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Harvey’s Positive Run Rate is 80%.
That means the vast majority of his carries gain yardage and keep the offense on schedule. Backs who “objectively suck” do not sustain that level of efficiency with real volume and defensive attention.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Go back to when Dobbins was still playing Harvey’s YAC was objectively over 7.0. At the time, the argument was that it “only looked good because of breakout runs on limited touches.”
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy Players who “objectively suck” don’t stay on the field in high-leverage situations, don’t get red-zone work. Usage is measurable. Outcomes are measurable. The claim that he’s “not an NFL RB” doesn’t match either.
@steven18613@tincup_man@DenSports1043@byesline@I_CU_boy (Cont) A true liability loses targets. He hasn’t. A 3.4 YPC since starting is not uncommon for primary backs facing heavier fronts; meanwhile, efficiency on limited touches does not scale. Most importantly, Harvey’s positive run rate (~80%) & rushing TD rate (5.3%) are above avg
