Eleven-year-old Mischa wrote this poem about her mental health. Her mum shared it with us. We were so touched by it that we'd like to share it with you, too. It's called 'Sometimes'.
Keep doing the best you can. Worrying, getting mad, stressing on top of it won't help. Take care of yourself, rest and look for the good things in your life. The tides will turn, but in the meantime, just keep doing the best you can. xx
Our culture tells us that slowing down means losing value or productivity. But to slow down is to embrace the natural flow of life. In this balance, we find peace.
If u feel sad, breathe deeply into ur belly. If u feel angry, relax those parts of the body where u feel the tense. If u feel hurt, clap ur hands while breathing into ur body. Emotion is energy in motion. Painful emotions reflect where tension is blocking energy flow. #taichi
When you follow the crowd you lose yourself...but when you follow your soul you will lose the crowd...Eventually your tribe will appear...but do not fear the process of solitude.
Instead of "I hate cleaning", think "I deserve to live in a clean space". Instead of "Ugh, I have to go to the gym", think "I deserve to live a healthy life". You can accomplish so much just by re-framing your mindset.
