That’s still the exception. And how many big base camps get assaulted with ground troops? I was in one war as an infantryman and 3 more tours as a pilot. I got shot at way more as a pilot, but it wasn’t in the same universe as being in combat as an infantryman. So I’ve done both. Only people who have never been infantryman say things like “everyone is an infantryman”. You’re entitled to your own opinion. Appreciate the civility.

“You guys”?? I retired from the army. I know a few people that dont get what they deserve and some that get more than they do. But attacking vets for the VA is making a mountain out of a molehill. If you’re a white male you’ve got a way bigger disadvantage and have a way more negative affect from immigrants and blacks who’ve done absolutely nothing, contributed nothing to deserve our tax money and infiltrate our culture with bullshit.
