Happy to announce I'm joining @fastxyz as Head of Strategy!
Pi Squared is building the next generation of decentralized infrastructure, a Universal Settlement Layer that uses zero-knowledge (ZK) technology and formal semantics to enable trustless, high-speed, and verifiable transactions across payments, AI, and crypto.
I’m especially excited to be working with @UofIllinois researchers again. It brings back great memories of my undergrad days.
🦓 Fusaka is coming and Ethereum is turning the dial way up. Blob scaling, PeerDAS, better UX… all fuel for the rollup future.
Fusaka (Fulu + Osaka) is the full upgrade and we’re already implementing.
KEVM has been updated to support the new rules, and every Osaka-era block is now checked and validated on FastSet in real time.
Ethereum scales. We verify the vibes.
Gud watch. Clear explanation of why Pi Squared is parallel by design and ready for agentic payments at scale.
Thanks @BoysClubWorld for hosting the conversation. 🤝
We welcomed @RosuGrigore, Founder & CEO @pisquared, to present his keynote HTTP 402 Reborn: Web Native Payments for Autonomous Agents.
He explores why autonomous AI agents will require a native payment layer built for the web and why existing blockchains are not yet prepared for what these systems demand.
“All the agents will need to use a payment system, and blockchains are not ready for that”

At @HouseofZK, @chenxiaohong called out the real bottleneck.
“We can scale parallelism for micropayments… but if the payment system is super slow, AI agents cannot use it. They need sub second settlement to function.”
FastSet brings that settlement at internet speed.
"The future of payments demands more than what blockchains can deliver."
@RosuGrigore, founder of @pisquared shares that instead of total ordering (like most blockchains), 'FastSet' processes weakly independent claims in parallel while reaching 150,000+ TPS and sub-100ms finality.
With this, Pi Squared hopes to unlock lightning fast payments and agent-native rails that traditional L1s can’t reach.
Got the chance to work on the K framework (KEVM's core technology) under @RosuGrigore's guidance back in my student days. It was some of the funnest work I've ever done and I loved it. Now I am thrilled to be working with the great engineers from the Pi^2 team to tackle an upcoming key milestone for megaeth using that same tech.
Open AGI summit @EFDevcon here we go !
@RosuGrigore « blockchains are not made for agents, we must push the performance boundaries when millions of agents use crypto rails, as blockchains will struggle to cope with demand »
Blockchains changed the world, they just weren’t built for realtime payments. FastSet verifies proofs instead of re-running code.
As @RosuGrigore says, payments should move like the internet.
OmniSet has been live for 5 days.
In that time, it has processed over 100K transactions across Ethereum Sepolia and Arbitrum Sepolia, averaging around 20K per day.
Live usage. Verifiable cross chain settlement in motion.
This weekend we’re hosting the most degenerate tailgate of the semester
