@MelSmithDPT That’s so sad to hear. As an OP PT working for a hospital system, I already got my first dose. There’s no reason private practice PTs shouldn’t be a high priority as well. I hope you’re able to get it sooner!

@SptHatcher @APTAOncology I might brush up on a little bit of ortho stuff if you feel like you need it. If you learned anything about lymphedema that would be worth reviewing! Looking up some basic info about how chemo and radiation affect the body could he useful too.
Our profession is facing Medicare payment cuts, and we need you and your patients and clients to take action to ensure Congress steps in.

@UberPT That’s great to hear you feel it was beneficial professionally! I definitely see the dual-setting opportunity opening up a lot of learning experiences
I was a little nervous when I accepted a job that was an acute care and outpatient combo, considering I had no acute experience in school. I’m thankful for great mentorship programs and the opportunities I’ve had to learn so far! This profession really is amazing! #freshPT
@purelycait Where I work all new staff are assigned a preceptor (not just PTs). So for me, I’ve had another PT working with me for all patients for the first few weeks. And over time I’ve started taking on more of a caseload as I’ve gotten more comfortable.
@durand_lindsay I have an I-PASS, so I haven’t had that issue, but I know people who haven’t paid their tolls and got a massive bill from the state. So I’d definitely follow up somehow!
