The Purdue for Life Foundation created and leads the Boiler Room: Purdue Football All-Access docuseries, with a third-party production team filming, editing, and producing each episode.

In the latest episode, two seconds of footage were inadvertently altered during post-production. We occasionally use quality-enhancement plugins to sharpen details in low-resolution footage. The tool is primarily intended for lighting and color correction and uses AI technology, but we were unaware that its newer model could add generative elements.

We should have caught the alteration during our quality-control process. The episode has been updated to restore the original footage at 7:18, and we apologize for the error and inconvenience.

This software will not be used in any future footage releases.
