Their entire purpose is to pull the Right back into being a bunch of hapless losers. They have zero ability to defeat the Left because their own principles preclude any means to do so.

Instead, they spend all their energy policing the Right by calling them Communists or Socialists or Fascists if they dare to question their sacred cows of reducing everything in politics to a market transaction.

Those people are dangerous because they're asking the uncomfortable question of whether the Classical Liberal's own stated principles are fit for purpose at this late and grave hour, or whether they actually brought us to this point.

We need to be asking why home prices haven’t totally collapsed with such a massively deflationary trend going on.

You’d think with millions of men dropping out of the work force and living with their parents that a huge force which would otherwise drive up home prices has disappeared from the market.

Normally, this would lead to less demand which would then translate into lower home prices, thus giving these men an incentive to re-enter the work force, get married, buy a home, and start a family.

But that isn’t happening. The White male labor face participation rate is cratering and a record number of them are stuck living at home with their parents, even as home prices remain very near record highs.

High rents didn’t create this crisis. A combination of the Cantillon Effect and mass migration did.

We created trillions of dollars worth of liquidity after 2008 and 2020 and then injected it into the housing market to subsidize demand, all while we imported millions of people from around the world who all had to live somewhere.

A combination of monetary and human quantitative easing is why half of young men are still living with their parents.

Our own government neutered an entire generation just for the sake of asset price inflation and an almost religious commitment to replacement migration.

Today, I was in a critical national security meeting with Secretary Hegseth where I helped secure his commitment that Section 219 would be stripped from the NDAA in conference. Protecting America’s intellectual property for future generations is non-negotiable.

For months, I’ve worked with colleagues to strengthen the NDAA, including measures to harden our bases against drone attacks, bolster the Colorado National Guard, ban DoW purchases of slave-labor equipment, and reduce waste, fraud, and abuse.

Unfortunately, the vote was closed sooner than expected and before my conversations with DoW concluded. My concerns about Section 219 and authorizing bureaucrats to give away America's secrets are well known, so these talks and getting a commitment to get that stripped out were important. 

This isn’t the final stop and I’ll have at least one more vote on this bill after it comes out of conference. Congress still has more work to do to shape this legislation and I will continue to be a strong voice in those conversations.
