Calgary Police have charged a 37-year-old man with two counts of first-degree murder following the deaths of two young children in northwest Calgary.

Officers responded to a call on April 30, 2026, where the children were found deceased inside a vehicle. The victims have been identified as a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.

I’m not a Nigerian, but watching this interview of @BwalaDaniel, spokesperson for President @officialABAT, on Head-to-Head with @mehdirhasan on Al Jazeera was honestly uncomfortable and hard to watch.

At several points in the interview, Mehdi Hasan brought up Daniel’s past statements, and instead of explaining them, he kept denying or changing what he had previously said, even when they were read back to him. To the point that Hasan even said “it's a tragedy that I know your words better than you do”. Nothing made me laugh more than when he said “I dispute that fact”. How can a sensible person dispute facts? 😂😂
