@KKriegeBlog A wonderful lady. I had the pleasure to study some of her modules as an undergraduate international student at WVU 1997/98. I was sad to learn of her passing.
Accounts like this are dangerous. They pollute the collective online knowledge of a subject like #WW2 with AI slop and poor, often made up, history. The #SWW a rich subject, with so many layers, and it’s never been necessary to make junk like this up.
Where even to begin?
I can't find any evidence of this tunnel existing and it somehow having been completely ignored when Germany got rid of all the other swastikas.
Stinks like Al in the morning.
(1/8) A particularly Irish ordeal is now underway in the centre of Wellington’s line.
Despite the thousands of soldiers from Ireland seeded throughout his army, the 1st/27th (Inniskilling) Foot is the only formally Irish infantry unit present.

Right, let's talk about Leuchter and his junk science and absolutely ridiculous report..........
1. When he took his "samples," he did so in an uncontrolled manner and without the consent of the museum. It was illegal what he did. He climbed down the ruins and collected large fist size samples of bricks and concrete. Now, the problem here is that he collected these samples in random areas, and he did not document where exactly he took these samples. Therefore, he could have taken them from nowhere near the gas chamber. He compared them to a sample he took from a delousing barrack.
2. These samples were then ground down into a powder, and any trace of the gas had now been contaminated. Any residue had become miniscule. You need to test the surface of the samples, right where the gas would have touched the walls. The lab that he took these samples to did not know what they were testing for, so they analysed it for everything.
3. When he collected these samples, the ruins had already been exposed to the elements for the past 43 years. The winters in Poland are harsh with lots of snow, ice, and minus temperatures. Rain had lashed down with hot summers that would bake the concrete and bricks.
4. Coming back to the disinfection barracks...... if you go to concentration camps you will see some buildings or certain rooms with blue walls. This means that they were used for disinfection. Zyklon B, when left for an extended amount of time (for example, during the delousing process where lice were killed on prisoner clothing), would turn the walls blue.
5. NOW..... why were the walls not blue in the gas chambers? This is because the gas was not left there for extended periods of time. The killing process would take between 20-40min. On a hot day the Zyklon B would evaporate quickly, taking only 20 minutes to kill everyone inside. On a cold day, it would take longer as the gas would evaporate much slower. Once everyone inside was dead, the gas was then extracted, and while the gas was being extracted, the doors to the gas chamber were opened. The prisoners who were then tasked with removing the bodies of the dead would wear gas masks to prevent them from inhaling the gas and being killed themselves. The gas that was inside barely had time to be absorbed into the walls. This is another reason why the walls are not blue.
6. After the gas chamber was cleared of the dead, it would be thoroughly cleaned, and the walls and floors washed down. The next group of prisoners who would be gassed needed to be reassured that they were going for a shower. If the walls were covered with blood and human bodily fluids, then that would cause panic. This process was methodical and conducted in a calm manner.
7. People were not being gassed 24/7. Sometimes, it would be days or weeks without transports and selections and gassings. Other times, huge transports would arrive, and the gas chambers and crematorium would be in operations for extended hours. Other times, you could have a few transports in a row and others, nothing.
8. There is a paper trail of orders for gas tight doors for the camp gas chambers with peep holes that were also airtight with a seal around the edges. If you go to Majdanek, you can see for yourselves exactly what these doors looked like in real life. The Majdanek gas chambers were never destroyed and stand as they were discovered in July 1944.
9. When Leuchter went to court, his credentials were proved to be false. He had a degree in humanities and had no knowledge in engineering, chemistry, or cremation. It's like me saying that I am not a historian but a vetinarian because I have read 1 book on dog anatomy. Therefore, I can easily operate on dogs and cremate them.
10. These "myths" are easily debunked, and holocaust deniers look for evidence that just isn't there. Open your eyes and stop allowing your hatred and antisemitism to pull the wool over your eyes. The evidence is there. You just need to turn your brains on!
