06.01.26 A productive first session back saw students continue their hard work towards their First Class badges and meticulous practice of a drill sequence during breakout sessions led by senior NCOs showed strong teamwork and collaboration. Da Iawn pawb! ๐ซก
16.12.25 We also celebrated WO Ward. Wishing him a very happy retirement. Very well deserved after 26 years at Bishop and an outstanding School Staff Instructor at CCF since September 2024. It is clear to see the impact he has had on students and cadets! Thank you Mr Ward! ๐๐

25.11.25 Another enjoyable session saw first years learning about radio communications and security; whilst second years refined drill skills and continued flight simulator training (used to prepare cadets for actual flight experiences!)
Six cadets took to the skies yesterday for their first flying experience at @MODStAthan, an integral part of the cadet experience. Emily, Evie, Georgina, Honey, Hyemin and Zach had the opportunity to fly in a Grob Tutor and optimal weather conditions meant aerobatic manoeuvres!๐ฉ๏ธ

Our last session before half term saw students compete in our inter-flight competition. RAF specialist quizzes; drill; and command tasks focusing on non-verbal communication skills challenged cadets to support each other to succeed in these areas. Da Iawn pawb!
4th week into the new term and our junior cadets are already demonstrating strong leadership skills. Our senior cadets continue to expand knowledge of drill and start their โLeading Cadetโ classification ๐ซก .

Congratulations to our very first winner of the โTrenchard prize for Combined Cadet Forceโ, L/Cpl Upadhyay. He couldnโt attend awards evening to receive his prize in person as he was representing our CCF unit at RAF Halton. Keep up the great work ๐๐ผ.
