I spoke with some of the guards that were on duty while the famous penitentiary breakout happened, things are not looking good for sure. If anybody sees any of the individuals that escaped, call or text 9-1-1 immediately.

Last night at approximately 22:09 four inmates managed to execute an escape plan that ultimately was a sucess.

The four convicts are at large and presumed dangerous, two serving life sentences and two serving over eight years.

Three of the men who escaped have been found, two are back in Bolingbroke, the other was fatally shot.

The alarm system was vandalised yesterday, all inmates are going through a cell shakedown, we do believe it was an escape attempt.

There will be a routine alarm at 13:00 tomorrow, prisoners will be taken to the yard, it is a drill and no prisoners will have escaped.
