It is deeply troubling that Mamdani recognised a Hamas member as a journalist, yet has failed to publicly acknowledge Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary heroism, as the UAE, Trump, India, and Israel did. Why the silence?
@ps26_11 Absolutely, its the ultimate freedom.
People should know that enjoying your own company doesn’t mean you have to hate going out with others. Both experiences can co-exist.
@shibusharmkxd8 It was not just a negative review, it is called spewing venom in the name of movie review. You can be dignified about it yet criticise what you watch.
When you are so depressed in life that you have to find innovative ways to insult someone’s hard work, its really the lowest point of humanity.
Criticism and insult are not friends!
@jasveer10 A public proposal is mostly staged where the woman knows exactly what is going to happen.
If they don’t then its the worst form to show love because its almost forcing the person to say yes. Someone I know proposed on top of a mountain peak, imagine the ride back if she said no!
Smit Machchhar did what any honest pilot would have done but it doesn’t hurt to add that he is an Indian.
Doesn’t matter who he saved or who was the co-pilot, he prevented a major incident. Lets celebrate Smit and millions of honest Indians who quietly work hard daily! 🇮🇳
Happy to see the praise for the brave Indian pilot Smit Machchhar today. I have seen the vile racist tweets from people when the Air India flight 171 was crashed and it made sick to my stomach. An example here, the audacity of this idiot!
Indian-origin Zohran Mamdani becoming NYC mayor was celebrated by many Indian leftists.
Now an Indian pilot, Smit Machchhar, risks his life and helps save 174 people and the same people seem strangely quiet.
Interesting.
Had this man not found the courage to fight back after being repeatedly attacked with an axe capable of cutting through metal—while bleeding profusely—and had the presence mind to trigger the hijack/emergency code, initiate the emergency response and open the cockpit door to allow passengers to assist him, the aircraft’s subsequent dive could have had catastrophic consequences.
Had that aircraft not been recovered, the geopolitical consequences for the Middle East could have been profound and potentially irreversible.
Sometimes history turns on the courage, resilience and presence of mind of one person.
Yes. One Indian man.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
Apple Pay in India and Indians are losing their minds!
Already 90 countries have Apply Pay, India is late to the party.
I remember using it in Morocco, Egypt etc. leave alone whole of Europe and America. What are people really celebrating?
Can I call out this trend of wearing a saree/dhoti on the streets of a foreign country just for clout?
If you do it because you feel comfortable in it, be my guest. But to do it to grab eyeballs or to make a reel hoping it goes viral is simply cheap tactics on display!
