@JohnSmithrabv@emmettl1023 I will also note that the value in Lana’s is recovering stuff lik munki or yveltal with an energy or adding an entire Toucannon line back to hand. I have never felt the need for sacred ash.
After tweaking the original list from @emmettl1023 this is what I feel to be the strongest 59/60 for a Toucannon list out there atm. The addition of genesect makes the deck incredibly safe at taking a 1-1-2-2 prize map into pult while consistently setting up. 1/??
@JohnSmithrabv@emmettl1023 I think if you’re going that deep you may as well just play the solrock/lunatone version. However I would try 1 pagos 1 cornerstone in this to help against festival lead while retaining a decent cornerstone out.
@AleFrendaTCG@TvDannyZ@emmettl1023 I did test it but often found myself getting stadium bumped without my opponent taking a ko so you have no room to bench it. Outside of that scenario it does offer value in the deck but I have really been liking the high count of azu to ensure you can hit your important numbers.
@TvDannyZ@emmettl1023 Quite literally just draw the out lol. 4 AZU is strong in general and the deck can tend to survive a watchtower as long as you also avoid hand disruption on the same turn.
@HarryPTCG@emmettl1023 This is absolutely valid cornerstone may be the better option. I initially thought there would be game states where attacking with terapagos would be relevant but it practically never happens. Definitely just a lapse in deck building on my part.
Overall the deck just genuinely feels cracked and is the most fun I’ve had since palkia/terapagos. I do feel like better players than me may be able to further innovate the list but for now it feels incredibly strong and very rewarding and fun to play.
I think it’s ultimately going to depend on the direction the meta goes so I will leave it open to personal preference but I plan to continue playing this list for the foreseeable future and further innovation it based on meta trends. 5/??
This card is genuinely so fraudulent. It already feels bad enough including him in the deck then when it comes time to actually use him mf always whiffs 💀
I feel like a trap that a lot of the toucannon lists fall into is being too gimmicky or including too many options that you never really get to pull off. This deck favors a more consistent game plan and executes it fully nearly every game. I plan to keep testing and refining it.
Been testing this list online with a couple changes and hovering around a 75% win rate after about 30 games. The list genuinely feels so good and is probably the strongest toucannon deck I’ve tested so far out of the 5 or 6 variants I’ve tried.
This biggest change I made was swapping secret box for unfair stamp which feels significantly more impactful and the deck was previously lacking any hand disruption. I also opted to include genesect which makes the deck a lot safer to be the aggressor into matchups like dragapult
I’ve been enjoying playing this card way more than I probably should and definitely see myself jamming it in many different lists for a long time to come
Made some slights changes to my Greninja list to improve consistency and proceeded to go draw pass with the worst hands I’ve seen in my entire life in 3 out of my 4 rounds at locals last night 💀💀
With the amount of different Greninja lists out there I wanted to start by focusing on maximum consistency and the most amount of ways to use mortal shuriken each turn. There’s still a handful of cards I’m considering for the list and Im excited to see the list evolve over time.
My current take on Greninja went 3-1 with it at locals this list isn’t perfect but definitely feels like it’s going in the right direction. The 3 Mega 1 Tera feels correct for now but may change in the future.
