Yet again I called the emergency repair line at @Hillingdon council. They sent out a representative yesterday who's only action was to state the roof needs repairing🤦♂️My tenant was promised a call today to arrange a contractor (yet again), and yet again this hasn't happened.
@Hillingdon the repair to the roof at Colley House in Uxbridge is still outstanding 7 weeks after being reported and presents a serious risk to the health and safety of my tenant @SteveTuckwellMP can you help?
🚨 Emergency: @steffm_sb‘s bike got lost on his way to london. Is there anybody who has a bike to participate at @LEL1500km? He is 1.90m tall. Maybe @British_Airways will get the bike to London until tomorrow, but you never know..

If you like a long ride, keep an eye out for #LEL2022 next week. 2,000 riders trying to do the 930 mile round trip between London & Edinburgh & back in under 125 hours - check out the route on our website https://t.co/Irh1Bxr24o
Ah, linocut. Composing the image, in reverse, each shape created through the transition between black and white. Every cut takes thought. It’s very absorbing . There needs to be balance and flow. I’ll only find out how it’s going when I roll ink onto it and print. #LEL#Audax
@cyclestreets The Tarka Trail has recently benefited from some major resurfacing work. I reckon it must now be the smoothest and longest traffic free trail in the country?

@joelindsey I treated myself to a pair of alloy Hunt Four Seasons a couple of years ago. They're proving to be a robust but lightweight wheelset and even survived unscathed after the bike was hit by a car!
@Al_Humphreys It's interesting that this should be a problem given that only ~6% of the UK is built on? I grew up in one of the most urbanised areas of the UK and there are still green spaces within a mile radius. https://t.co/ttnBxajVQ2
@pathlesspedaled They can be the work of stan to be sure, but I used to find the ones with the fixed length straddle cable a tad easier to fettle... as long as the cable was the right length🤔
@jackthurston @joedunckley As part of a council led nature based tourism project, I've started planning short experiential rides to encourage recreational cycling in North Devon and am always looking out for points of interest that help provide a sense of purpose to a ride.
