Alice Miller, a post-Victorian poet, playwright and novelist. Much of her work is now lost and there's little information available about her. At the Victorian Bolton, we've done some recovery work on her. Read about what we've found out here:

Once upon a time Unilever (now 148,000 employees) was just two brothers trying to make a living in Bolton. An original 1888 letter signed by James Darcy Lever.
