The Myanmar junta regime's brutal airstrike killed 50 innocent children and two teachers today when the airstrike truck a village school in Tabeyin township of Sagaing region.
This devastating attack occurred around 9:55 am Myanmar time, targeting the very place where many children gathered to learn and grow in Utthingwan village, within the borders of Ye-U district, Khit Thit media reported.
Despite announcing a ceasefire set to last from May 6 to May 31, the junta shamelessly violated its own promise within just one day, launching a series of airstrikes across the nation.

A military aircraft bombed the Ohtheinkwin village school in Depayin Township, Sagaing Region, resulting in the death or injury of around 50 students, including two teachers, according to a local rescue worker.
The airstrike took place at around 9:55 a.m. today when the military dropped bombs on the village school in Ohtheinkwin. It has been reported that two female teachers were killed on the spot, and many children lost their lives or were injured.
“The bomb directly hit the school. The two teachers died immediately. Around 50 students may have been killed or injured. Some children are still missing, and some have suffered severe injuries, including eye loss and head wounds. We are currently transporting the injured with vehicles. The situation is dire,” said a rescue worker from Depayin Township.
So far, the bodies of 11 children and two female teachers have been recovered, with many other children sustaining injuries. Rescue operations are still ongoing.
