You express nothing, you forfeit your voice to allow the rest of humanity to speak for you. Here, you even say the ultimate goal is the erasure of human voices. Your “expression” leads to a lack of humanity, not a furtherance of it. Every iteration and invention of art has found new ways to allow us to culminate the human experience through sensation, but generative AI is cancer, it’s the cells of what we’ve already built spinning ad nauseam until all we “make” is what others have already made. It’s a dead end and lifeless, and goes against whatever spirit, soul, or God gave us the gift of creation in the first place.

@GaimReady @EduRez96 @kelskiYT And funny thing regarding the plagiarism. OpenAI just lost a court case about and now has to pay the german GEMA a licence fee. And the funny thing about that is, not because chatGPT generates lyrics but simply because the AI was trained on those.

@GaimReady @EduRez96 @kelskiYT If I feed it only pics of knight armor, it will never be able to generate an image of a space suit. All of it's images will be made out of pieces of those knight armor. It picks certain parts from it's database and combines them. It cant think and create something on its own

You do not copy it one to one(because that is what AI does). You add your own ideas because if you were to make an exact copy they could sue you for plagiarism.

@jakehalloran1 @Slasher @tszzl That is just not true. They push the development of that AI which can earn them the most money. Curing cancer is way less profitable then giving 6 billion people the ability to generate little fake videos and fake pictures. They look were the bigger customer base.

@GaimReady @EduRez96 @kelskiYT It does make a lot of sense. When you use art by other people you directly reference them. With AI their art gets stolen without their consent to train the AI.
And of course AI is gonna be in the final game. You cannot get rid of AI traces when it literally builds the foundation.

@LarAtLarian Imagine standing on a big stage and talking about how bad big corpo is for games/art and just a year later to act exactly like them by using gen AI that has been trained on stolen art and is destryoing our environment. What a hypocite.
