Inspired by the text, Not a box, Ss in @MissCRShannon and Mrs. Chafee’s kinder class are being creative making something out of a box that is not a box! Rocket launchers, lasers, swimming pools were just some of the great ideas! @BonaventurePS@wendymacinnis1@TrusteeMLarsen

Learning in action! Phonics fun at the beach in Mrs. Simpson’s gr 1/2 class! Ss are passing the ball and where their finger lands they have to say the sound, and Ss had their own beach balls to write digraphs on! 🙌 @wendymacinnis1@BonaventurePS@TrusteeLarsen
How fun is this?!!! Mr. White’s gr 7/8 Ss had to sink a putt to get into class! Even staff got in on the fun! Lots of laughs and a great opportunity to build relationships. Essential Conditions of Learning. @BonaventurePS@wendymacinnis1@TrusteeMLarsen

Feeling inspired by the text “Be a Good Ancestor” by Leona & Gabrielle Prince, part of the 2023 Blue Spruce Program, @Liemtl used the illustrations about caring for our 🌎 to have our Ss create their own work of art! @BonaventurePS@wendymacinnis1@TrusteeMLarsen

I LOVE doing Read Alouds especially when there is a literacy/math connection. Ss created arrays along with our story and recognized there are a variety of ways to represent 100. Then they worked together to create arrays for other numbers. @BonaventurePS@tvdsbmathk8
